Oppo has already confirmed it will soon launch a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888-powered Find X3. So far, a few specs of the Find X3 have leaked online. The Find X3 will most likely be accompanied by other models, like Galaxy S20 series. According to reports, Oppo is working on a Lite variant of the Find X3. The smartphone is said to be a rebranded version of the recently launched Reno 5.
According to Evleaks, Reno 5 and Find X3 Lite will be available in different markets, so there is unlikely to be a lot of confusion over the phones. The leakster said that the pricing of the two phones could be identical across regions. He further said that the Find X3 Lite will come with a traditional Oppo logo on the back cover, unlike the “Reno Glow” branding on the back panel of the Reno 5.
Oppo had launched the Reno 5 series in China in December last year. The Reno 5G starts at CNY 2,699 ( ₹30,400 approximately). Oppo’s Reno 5 5G comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. The smartphone comes in two variants of 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. On the software front, Oppo Reno 5 5G runs Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top.
It comes with a quad-camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone also has a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies. Oppo Reno 5 5G runs on a 4,300mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
Separately, Oppo has announced it will launch Reno 5 Pro 5G in India on January 18. Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G is available in China for a starting price of CNY 3,399 ( ₹38,200 approximately). The handset is likely to be available in India at a similar price point.
